Yes. Grok Build reads skill folders. Unzip a skill into ~/.grok/skills, or link it to Trilly once and ask it for skills.

Get the skill from Trilly
Unzip it into your skills folder
Check Grok Build found it
Ask as normal

Two ways to add skills to Grok Build

Link Grok Build to Trilly once. Needs an xAI account and the terminal. Trilly hasn't tried linking from Grok Build yet.
Download a skill and add it yourself. Step by step

What you need: Grok Build, installed from x.ai. It runs in a terminal.

Step by step

Get the skill from Trilly
On the skill's Trilly page, press Add to my AI, choose Grok Build under For technical users and download the .zip.
Unzip it into your skills folder
Unzip it into ~/.grok/skills (just you) or .grok/skills inside a project, so the skill's folder holds SKILL.md.
Check Grok Build found it
Run grok inspect to see the skills Grok Build found, or type /skills in Grok Build.
Ask as normal
Grok Build uses the skill when your request matches it. You can also type / and the skill's name.

Connectors and browser helpers

Checked 24 October 2026. Each skill on Trilly says what it can do beyond the chat under "What it can do for you". You choose: let your AI use your apps and do the clicking, or get a copy-ready version to paste yourself.

Connected apps. Grok Build can use connections added with grok mcp add, and the ones set up for Claude Code. It's a tool for people who code.

Browser helper. We haven't checked Grok Build's browser tools. Skills still work in the chat.

Folders Grok Build reads

~/.grok/skills, and .grok/skills in a project.
~/.agents/skills, the folder other tools use.
Claude Code's skills too: xAI says Grok Build reads them with no set-up.

Updating and removing

Unzipped skills don't update by themselves. Unzip the new version from Trilly when your library shows one, and delete a skill's folder to remove it.

Linking Grok Build to Trilly

Run grok mcp add --transport http trilly https://trilly.io/api/mcp, then type /mcps, choose trilly and press i to log in. The full steps are at Link Grok Build to Trilly.

Does the skill update by itself?

No. When your Trilly library shows a new version, download it and unzip it over the old one. A linked Grok Build gets the latest checked version from Trilly each time.
