Connectors and browser helpers

Checked 12 October 2026. Each skill on Trilly says what it can do beyond the chat under "What you get". You choose: let your AI use your apps and do the clicking, or get a copy-ready version to paste yourself. What connected apps and browser helpers are

Connected apps and browser helpers. It depends on the app: look in its settings for connectors or connected apps. Skills still work in the chat.

Apps with their own guide

Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Cursor, Perplexity and Mistral Vibe each have a step-by-step guide.

Where each tool looks

We've only listed tools whose makers document skills support. Checked against each maker's own docs on 11 October 2026.

Tool Where to put the skill Official docs
Goose ~/.agents/skills/, or .agents/skills/ in a project Goose docs
OpenCode ~/.agents/skills/, or .opencode/skills/, .agents/skills/ or .claude/skills/ in a project OpenCode docs
Cline ~/.agents/skills/ Cline docs
Devin Desktop (was Windsurf) ~/.codeium/windsurf/skills/, or .devin/skills/ or .agents/skills/ in a project Devin Desktop docs
Junie (JetBrains) ~/.agents/skills/ Junie docs
Amp ~/.agents/skills/ Amp docs
Warp ~/.agents/skills/ Warp docs
Factory ~/.agents/skills/ Factory docs
Zed .agents/skills/ in a project only Zed docs
Kiro .kiro/skills/ only Kiro docs
Raycast (Pro plan) Its watched folders, including ~/.agents/skills/ and ~/.claude/skills/ Raycast manual
Manus Upload the .zip Manus docs

~ means your home folder: on Windows that's C:\Users\your-name, on a Mac it's /Users/your-name.

One folder for most tools: Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Goose, OpenCode and most others read ~/.agents/skills/. Claude Code uses ~/.claude/skills/ instead.

Tools that don't take Trilly skills

  • Notion AI has its own skills. It can save them as SKILL.md files but can't bring them in, so a Trilly skill can't be added to Notion.
  • Roo Code shut down on 15 May 2026, and Continue is now read only.
  • Gemini CLI was replaced by Antigravity CLI for most people on 18 June 2026: see the Antigravity guide.

What's inside a skill

A skill is a folder. The only file it must have is SKILL.md. It starts with a short block between two --- lines that gives the skill's name and a description of when to use it. Below that are the instructions, in plain words. Some skills also have scripts/, references/ or assets/ folders. The format is an open standard, published at agentskills.io.

If your app doesn't read skills

You can still use the know-how inside:

  1. Open SKILL.md in Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).
  2. Copy everything below the block between the two --- lines.
  3. Paste it into your app's custom instructions, system prompt or project instructions.
  4. Add any other files from the skill folder as reference files, if your app allows it.

A pasted copy is a snapshot. It won't update when the maker improves the skill, and Trilly can't count your use in the skill's public numbers.

Developers: the Claude API

The Claude API loads custom skills from Anthropic's Skills endpoint, not from a folder. See Anthropic's skills guide for the API.
