Connectors and browser helpers
Checked 12 October 2026. Each skill on Trilly says what it can do beyond the chat under "What you get". You choose: let your AI use your apps and do the clicking, or get a copy-ready version to paste yourself. What connected apps and browser helpers are
Connected apps. Microsoft 365 Copilot already works with your work email, calendar, files and Teams. Other apps need your admin to approve them.
Browser helper. Browse with Copilot in Microsoft Edge is in the US only, with Microsoft 365 Premium. We couldn't confirm it for work accounts.
Limits Microsoft sets
- Up to 8 skills per agent.
- Each skill's .zip can be up to 50 MB, with up to 25 MB per file and 350 files across all skills.
- Folders can go 3 levels deep.
- A skill's instructions must be under 20,000 characters.
- Scripts run with no internet and can't install packages or call connectors.
- An agent can't have skills and embedded files at the same time yet.
- A skill can't be reused across agents yet.
Not in the Frontier Program? Paste the agent version
Some skills on Trilly also come with a Microsoft 365 agent version: a short copy for an agent's instructions. It's there only if the skill's maker made one.
- On the skill's Add to my AI page, choose the Microsoft 365 agent version.
- In Microsoft 365 Copilot chat, select Agents & Skills, then New agent.
- Paste the agent version into the agent's instructions. Agent instructions can be up to 8,000 characters.
- Try it, then save the agent.
A pasted copy is a snapshot. It won't update when the maker improves the skill, and Trilly can't count your use in the skill's public numbers.
Updating a skill
Agent Builder doesn't update skills by itself. When Trilly shows a new version in your library, add the new .zip to the agent again.
Linking Microsoft 365 Copilot to Trilly
Microsoft 365 agents reach outside services only through actions that an agent maker adds and an admin approves. Trilly doesn't offer a Microsoft 365 action, so use the .zip or the agent version.
