Example, shortened, from this skill's page. Someone asks their AI: Here are my current account and Amex exports and some emails I saved. Keeping Netflix, Spotify… Every Subscription and Bill, Found and Cut answers: You pay £4,337.15 a year in 13 recurring charges; £476.63 can go. This covers 1 October 2025 to 28 September 2026, from your current account and Amex. YouTube Premium: monthly £12.99 (how often); Apple TV+: monthly £8.99 (how often); Microsoft 365: yearly £104.99 (how often).

Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 24 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 24 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

This result is for version 1.0.1's skill files as you add them to Claude. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: The yearly cost is the latest price times the real number of charges a year: 13 for every 4 weeks and 52 for weekly, never 12, and never last year's total (the skill's method, scripts/find-recurring.py) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a moment that needed a safety step 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: German Civil Code section 309 no. 9 (Gesetze im Internet; contracts since 1 March 2022): after the first term the contract continues only indefinitely and can be ended at any time with at most one month's notice 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

You ask

Here are my current account and Amex exports and some emails I saved. Keeping Netflix, Spotify, iCloud and the gym; the other subscriptions can go. Money's tight and I'm behind on council tax. My broadband emailed that it's going up £3.50 from 6 November, and my mobile went up £2 in April: can I leave either without an exit fee? Don't the new UK subscription rules let me cancel online now anyway? And which energy deal should I fix with when mine ends? On my phone, no files please. Today is 24 October 2026.

Subscriptions to cancel (from your Amex and current account, October 2025 to September 2026)

Cancel Cost Next charge Saves a year
Amazon Prime £8.99 a month 28 Oct 2026 £107.88
YouTube Premium £12.99 a month 16 Nov 2026 £155.88
Apple TV+ £8.99 a month 23 Nov 2026 £107.88
Microsoft 365 Family £104.99 a year 12 May 2027 £104.99
  • Total saving: £30.97 a month, or about £476.63 a year.
  • Prime: cancel today if you can, to avoid the 28 October charge.
  • Microsoft 365: it renewed on 12 May, so turn off auto-renew now. You keep access until it ends, but don't expect a refund.
  • NOW: already cancelled in February, so nothing to do.
  • Keeping: Netflix (£12.99), Spotify (£11.99), iCloud (£2.99) and the gym (£24.99).

Broadband (Fibreline)

  • Price rise: it goes from £29.50 to £33.00 on 6 November 2026.
  • Contract: your 24-month contract runs to about 20 March 2027.
  • Can you leave without a fee? Probably yes. Ofcom rules let you leave penalty-free if a rise wasn't clearly set out in pounds and pence when you signed up. Your welcome email mentions no rise.
  • Deadline: the right to leave usually lasts 30 days from the notice, dated 6 October. So act by about 5 November.
  • Check first: I can't see your full contract terms. Ask Fibreline in writing, or via chat, to confirm you can leave without a fee because of the rise.

SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLS

You pay £4,337.15 a year in 13 recurring charges; £476.63 can go. This covers 1 October 2025 to 28 September 2026, from your current account and Amex.

Can go (you're keeping Netflix, Spotify, iCloud and the gym)

Charge How often A year Why
YouTube Premium monthly £12.99 £155.88 Doubles up with Spotify
Apple TV+ monthly £8.99 £107.88 Not on your keep list
Microsoft 365 yearly £104.99 £104.99 Renews 12 May 2027
Amazon Prime monthly £8.99 £107.88 Free trial that converted

Amazon Prime's next charge is Wednesday 28 October 2026. The reminder is Sunday 25 October.

Price rises

  • Energy: £96.00 to £118.00, £264.00 a year more.
  • Motor insurance: £48.20 to £61.75, £162.60 more.
  • Water: £38.00 to £41.50, £42.00 more.
  • Mobile: £16.00 to £18.00, £24.00 more.
  • Netflix: £10.99 to £12.99, £24.00 more.
  • Broadband goes from £29.50 to £33.00 on 6 November. That is £42.00 a year more.

Can you leave without an exit fee? This is general information, not legal advice.

  • Broadband: Yes, probably. Ofcom's rules, as set out in the government's letter to Ofcom of 31 October 2025, let you leave free within 30 days if the provider raises the price above what your contract set out. Your Fibreline welcome email gives a flat £29.50 and doesn't mention a rise. The notice is dated 6 October 2026, so you can leave free until 5 November 2026. Contact them before then and ask for the exit in writing.
  • Mobile: No. Your contract summary says "Each April your monthly price goes up by £2.00". A rise set out in pounds and pence gives no free exit. The contract also runs 24 months from 15 February 2025, so it ends on 15 February 2027, and early exit may cost a fee.

The new subscription rules They aren't in force yet. The Consumer Subscription Contracts Regulations 2026 start on 1 January 2027 and cover only contracts made after that date. Your current subscriptions fall under their own terms and existing consumer law.

Energy I can't pick a deal for you. Compare on a price comparison site accredited under Ofgem's Confidence Code. The price cap doesn't apply to fixed tariffs, and leaving a fixed tariff early can cost an exit fee. Have a recent bill, your yearly kWh and your tariff end date ready.

Council tax Money is tight, so call National Debtline on 0808 808 4000. It's free, open Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9:30am to 1pm. Ask your council about a payment plan too.

Next steps (you)

  • Cancel Amazon Prime before 28 October. Apple TV+ is cancelled in your Apple subscriptions on your phone, and Microsoft 365 on its own site.
  • Fibreline: decide before 5 November. Those 5 rows are only for comparing, not part of the £476.63.
  • Statement check: look for each cancelled charge on your next statement, starting the day after its next charge date. If one still appears, ask for a refund with your confirmation, then dispute it with your bank or card company.

I can write the Fibreline email or a cancellation email in the chat. I can also give the steps for a browser helper, which stops before the final button. You sign in yourself.

Written in English. Answers in your language

Share a year of bank and card statement exports and any receipts. It finds every recurring charge, groups the many ways one merchant shows up on a statement, and works out what each costs you a year at today's price. The first line tells you what you pay a year, in how many charges, and how much can go.

The ranked list shows forgotten subscriptions, price rises, free trials that turned into charges, the same service billed twice and two services doing one job. Energy, internet, mobile and insurance bills are set against the official comparison tool where you are, with the rules on cancelling and price rises for your country.

Your browser helper can walk one cancellation to the last button and stop there, so you press it. It writes retention scripts and cancellation emails, and dates a check on your next statement that each cancellation worked. If Gmail or Google Calendar is connected, it can read the receipts you pick and add reminders, each only after you say yes.

It never cancels, pays or moves money, and never needs card or bank details. General information, not financial advice.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the service's own website, on its cancel page after you sign in, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. The browser helper stops and asks you before anything is sent or changed, and never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your money file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
