1. Who we are
Trilly ("we", "us") runs trilly.io.
- ABN: 66 670 726 691
- Address: Suite 1208/530 Little Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia
- Help: support@trilly.io
- Legal notices: legal@trilly.io
You can also reach us through our contact page.
2. Agreeing to these terms
By using Trilly you agree to these terms, our privacy policy and our skill rules. If you sell skills, our creator terms apply too. If you don't agree, please don't use Trilly.
3. Who can use Trilly
- You must be at least 18, or at least 16 with the permission of a parent or guardian. You must be 18 or over to buy or sell skills, and to use any skill about betting.
- You must give us true details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise (for example, company accounts).
4. What Trilly is
Trilly is a marketplace and community. Makers list skills; you choose which to add to your own AI app. Unless a skill is marked as made by Trilly, the maker, not Trilly, makes and supports it. We check skills against our rules before they're listed and on every update, but we can't promise a skill is perfect or right for you.
5. AI can be wrong
Skills guide AI apps made by other companies, such as Anthropic, OpenAI and Google. AI can make mistakes, including confident ones. Read what your AI produces before you rely on it. Skills about money, betting, health and legal matters give general information only: see our advice disclaimers.
Your use of an AI app is also covered by that app maker's own terms.
6. Your licence to use a skill
When you add a free skill or buy a paid one, the maker, through Trilly, gives you a licence to use it. The licence is:
- personal: for you, with your own AI apps, in your own life or business;
- for your team only if your plan says so: if the skill's page or your plan covers a team, the people in that team can use it too;
- non-transferable: you can't sell it, give it away or pass it on.
You must not share, resell or publish the skill's files, or pass the skill off as your own. That includes posting them online, putting them in a shared folder or a public code library, and copying them into another skill or product.
Each copy you download carries its own private code, linked to your account when you're signed in, so we can tell where a shared copy came from. If you share a copy or break this licence, we may revoke your access to the skill and to any shared copies.
Your licence for a paid skill. Each paid skill comes with a licence that has its own licence number. It is made at random and is never your email. Anyone can check a licence number at trilly.io/licence. That page shows only whether the licence is valid, the skill and the date.
Marks in your copy. Each paid copy has a few visible marks unique to your licence: a line in the skill's details, a short note at the end, and a sentence in a file the skill doesn't need to read. They don't change what the skill does. Please leave them in.
Using a paid skill in your apps. You can use a paid skill through your Trilly connection in a limited number of apps at a time. Settings, Linked AI apps shows how many. If you add it to one more, the app you used least recently stops getting it, and you can switch it back on at any time. If your account looks like it's being used by several people, we may ask you to confirm it's you. A company seat counts as one person's licence.
If we find a shared copy. Trilly checks the evidence before anything happens. If a shared copy came from your licence, we may stop updates and connector access for that licence. We'll tell you why, and how to get it back.
Some makers choose an open licence for a skill, such as MIT or Creative Commons. Where they have, that licence applies to that skill instead of this section.
Your licence for a skill ends if you get a refund for it or your payment is reversed.
7. Paying
Prices are shown before you buy, in Australian dollars unless the page says otherwise. Trilly isn't registered for GST, so no GST is added: the price you see is the full price. Payments are processed by Stripe. Before you pay, you tick a box to agree to these terms and our refund policy; we keep a record of which versions you agreed to and when.
- Monthly skills renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time in billing settings; you keep access until the end of the month you paid for and aren't charged again.
- Refunds: if a skill is faulty or not as described, report it and its maker is asked to fix it, replace it or refund you. If they don't, Trilly refunds you. If you buy a skill by mistake, you can get an instant refund for a short time after paying. Apart from that, we don't give refunds for a change of mind. The details and time limits are in our refund policy. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
- Your bank statement shows TRILLY or TRILLY* SKILL NAME.
- Card disputes: please ask us for a refund first. If a payment is disputed with your bank, access to that skill is paused until the dispute is settled, and we give your bank the records of the purchase (what you bought, when you agreed to these terms, and when the skill was downloaded or used) so it can decide fairly.
8. Betting and gambling skills
Skills about betting and gambling are for people 18 and over only. They give general information, not betting or financial advice. They can't predict results and they don't guarantee wins. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
If gambling is causing problems for you or someone close to you, free and confidential help is there wherever you live. In Australia, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our advice disclaimers list the lines for New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, the US and Canada, and findahelpline.com lists more.
9. Reviews, posts and messages
- Only review skills you've really used. Be honest and fair.
- Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, misleading, or that shares someone's private information.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, store and share it on Trilly and in our promotion of Trilly, for as long as it's on the site.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
10. Things you must not do
- Try to break, overload or get around Trilly's security, rate limits or checks.
- Scrape Trilly or copy large parts of it, except as allowed by our robots.txt.
- Fake installs, uses, reviews or results, or pay anyone to.
- Use Trilly to break the law, or to harm, deceive or spam anyone.
- Tamper with a skill's reporting so its public numbers are wrong.
11. Reporting copied skills (takedowns)
If you think a skill on Trilly copies your work or breaks your rights, email legal@trilly.io. Our copyright and takedown page explains what to include, what we do next, and how a maker can send a counter-notice. To report a harmful skill, email abuse@trilly.io or use "Report" on the skill's page.
12. Ending your account
You can close your account at any time in your data settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where it's reasonable to do so. Some things stay after an account closes, such as anonymous totals in public numbers and records we must keep by law.
13. Our responsibility to you
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Apart from those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows:
- Trilly is provided "as is". We don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by AI output, by a maker's skill, or by an AI app made by another company.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Trilly in the 12 months before the claim and AUD $100.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If there's a problem, please email support@trilly.io first and we'll try to sort it out. If we can't, the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms takes away the consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
