Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 25 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 25 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.2 on 25 October 2026. Version 1.0.3 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: Visa Compelling Evidence 3.0 (reason 10.4) needs at least two undisputed earlier payments on the same card made 120 to 364 days before the disputed payment, matching on two main elements such as IP address and device (Stripe) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a tricky case What it tested: While a dispute is open, a refund can't be issued outside the dispute process; accepting the dispute is how to give the money back (Stripe) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: Refunding a charge with an early fraud warning doesn't remove the fraud notice: Visa's monitoring (VAMP) counts early fraud warnings as well as disputes, and refunds don't change that (Stripe) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

The whole example

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Customer opened a dispute in Stripe: product not received, £240.00, Visa 13.1, respond by 4 November 2026. Order #2093 went to 'Flat 12, 14 Mill Lane, Leeds LS6 2AB'. Royal Mail tracking says delivered 2 October to 'Flat 2, 14 Mill Lane, LS6 2AB', signed 'R. Khan'. She emailed us on 6 October saying it never came and we missed it. Should I just refund her now so it goes away, or fight it? Write the evidence text and a short note to her. Sign the note 'Priya, Ivy & Fern' for this one. Today is 21 October 2026.

Without the skill

Recommendation: refund, don't fight. The tracking shows delivery to Flat 2, but the order was for Flat 12, so the parcel didn't reach the address she gave. Visa 13.1 will almost certainly go against you, and she also told you on 6 October and didn't get a reply. Don't send a separate refund, because that risks paying twice. Use Accept dispute in Stripe, which returns the £240.00 (the dispute fee still applies). Then ask Royal Mail about a misdelivery claim. You have until 4 November 2026, so there's time.

Evidence text (only if you decide to contest anyway; it's truthful but weak)

Order #2093 for £240.00 was dispatched by Royal Mail tracked service to the customer's stated address, Flat 12, 14 Mill Lane, Leeds LS6 2AB. Royal Mail tracking records delivery on 2 October 2026, signed for by "R. Khan", at Flat 2, 14 Mill Lane, LS6 2AB, the same building but a different flat. The customer contacted us on 6 October 2026 to say the item had not arrived. We acknowledge the flat number on the delivery record differs from the shipping address. Our refund policy is linked beside the pay button at checkout. Attached: order confirmation, shipping address, Royal Mail tracking and proof of delivery, and the customer's email of 6 October 2026.

Note to the customer

Subject: Your order #2093: I'm sorry

Hi,

I'm sorry about your order, and sorry I missed your email of 6 October. Royal Mail's records show the parcel was delivered to Flat 2 rather than Flat 12, so it's clear it didn't reach you.

I'm returning the £240.00 to your card. It will come through your bank's dispute process, so you may see it as a dispute credit and it can take a few days to appear. If you'd still like the order, let me know and I'll send a replacement to Flat 12 with extra care.

Sorry again for the hassle.

Priya, Ivy & Fern

You may also want to check whether the Flat 2 neighbour still has the parcel, as it might be recoverable.

DISPUTES AND FRAUD CHECK

The call: don't refund separately, and lean towards accepting. While a dispute is open, Stripe won't allow a refund outside it. To give her the money back, accept the dispute in the Dashboard. At stake: £240.00. The £20.00 received fee is spent. Countering adds £20.00, returned only if you win. Respond by Wednesday 4 November 2026 (10 days left from 25 October, the date I have; you wrote 21 October).

Why it's weak: the tracking shows delivery to Flat 2, but the order went to Flat 12. Delivery elsewhere isn't proof for 13.1. Her 6 October email also went unanswered. If she never got it, accept. Fight only if you can show Flat 2 was a Royal Mail error that she can't claim, which this doesn't show.

Evidence text, if you fight anyway (weak): "Order #2093 was shipped to the address the cardholder gave: Flat 12, 14 Mill Lane, Leeds LS6 2AB. Royal Mail tracking shows delivery on 2 October 2026 to Flat 2, 14 Mill Lane, LS6 2AB, signed for by R. Khan, in the same building. The customer first contacted us on 6 October 2026." Attach the tracking page as a file, not a link.

Note to her (if you accept): Hello,

I'm sorry your order #2093 didn't reach you, and sorry we missed your email of 6 October. We've accepted your dispute, so the £240.00 will go back to you through your bank. Your bank can tell you when it will show.

Priya, Ivy & Fern

  • Payments (for example Stripe): Read the dispute the owner names, its charge and that customer's earlier charges, and the balance and payouts for a hold; stage evidence on that dispute after a yes. Reads: The one dispute named: reason, network reason code, amount, respond-by date and any evidence Stripe filled in; The disputed charge and the same customer's earlier charges, for the Compelling Evidence 3.0 check; The balance, reserve and payout list, read only, for a payout hold Creates: Evidence staged on the one dispute named, submitting off, after a yes; Stripe sends it to the bank just before the deadline unless the owner accepts first. Never submits or accepts it. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: The owner pastes the dispute details and screenshots from the Stripe Dashboard and submits the evidence there.
  • Online shop (for example Shopify): Read the order behind the dispute: items, shipping address, fulfilment and tracking. Reads: The order for the disputed charge: items, shipping address, fulfilment and tracking Doesn't create or change anything. Without it: The owner pastes or uploads the order page and tracking, or an export from their shop.

Reads: The customer's emails the owner picks from a search by order number or email address Doesn't create or change anything. Without it: The owner pastes the customer's messages.
  • Calendar (for example Google Calendar): Add the reminders before the respond-by date and the outcome check. Creates: Reminder events for the respond-by date and the outcome check, each shown first and added only after a yes Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: Reminders given as Title, Date and Time lines, or a calendar file, to add by hand.
Where your information goes
  • The customer's name, email, shipping address, order, messages and earlier charges, and the dispute's details: Stays in the chat. Staged evidence reaches the card issuer when the owner submits it in Stripe, or by Stripe itself just before the respond-by date unless the owner accepts the dispute first. Only the one dispute, its order and that customer's earlier charges are read. Card numbers, keys and logins are never asked for or repeated.
  • Dispute reference, respond-by date and outcome check date: The owner's own calendar, only after a yes. Event titles carry the dispute reference and the step, not the customer's name.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Tell it about a Stripe dispute, or let it read the dispute through your AI app's Stripe connection. It says whether to fight or accept, what fighting costs in fees, and how many days you have left. Then it builds the response the reason code needs: the Visa Compelling Evidence 3.0 test for fraud claims, proof of delivery to the right address for parcels that never arrived, and your refund policy as customers saw it at checkout.

Evidence can be submitted only once, so it never submits anything. With Stripe connected it can stage the evidence on the dispute after you say yes, and you check and submit it in your Stripe Dashboard. It never accepts disputes, refunds or moves money. Every dispute goes on a tracker with reminders before the deadline and a check when the outcome is due.

Payout Hold Helper for Stripe explains a paused payout or a reserve and drafts your reply to Stripe. Fraud Rule Setup for Stripe drafts Radar rules from your own fraud pattern for you to add. It can also read the order in Shopify and the customer emails you pick, and add reminders to Google Calendar after you say yes. General information, not financial advice.

You choose: it reads your connected apps and, where your AI app's connection can make changes, changes things only in Stripe and Google Calendar, after your yes each time, or you paste things in and get copy-ready text, or step-by-step help.

Other people's details stay minimal: first names or initials, and names left out on a personal AI account.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your payments app, your online shop, your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

How your apps work

Works with Stripe

The maker says it works with this. It isn't made or checked by Stripe unless it says "Official" or "Approved".

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • how to win a stripe dispute for an order marked fraudulent

To check it's working, the answer should start with "DISPUTES AND FRAUD CHECK".

  • stripe payouts paused, what do I send them

  • stripe radar rules for a small online shop
