What's changed in Disputes and Fraud Checks for Stripe
Versions that passed Trilly's checks, newest first.
- Version 1.0.3 · 28 Oct 2026
- Adds a version to paste into Grok's own skills, and sets up Grok and Grok Build.
- Nothing else changed.
- Version 1.0.2 · 25 Oct 2026
If you stage evidence through your AI app, it now says first that Stripe sends staged evidence to the bank by itself just before the deadline, with the countered fee, unless you accept the dispute before then.
What else changed in version 1.0.2
- A note to your customer never says how long the money takes to come back: their bank sets the timing.
- Never asks for a card number or an API key, in every version you can paste in, as well as a password, login or code.
- Visa's monitoring levels now include the lower Non-compliant level (a 0.5% ratio and a count of 5) beside the Excessive one, and Visa's new Asia Pacific risk programme.
- Stripe's Smart Disputes: its fee is charged only if you win, and it submits its own evidence before the deadline unless you turn auto-submit off.
- The UK worked example gives the real delivery and return dates.
- Version 1.0.1 · 24 Oct 2026
When you ask for the evidence text, it always writes it in full and ready to paste, with every detail you gave filled in, even when it advises accepting the dispute.
What else changed in version 1.0.1
- A note to your customer says the money comes back through their bank once you accept, never that you're refunding it.
- The fee list now names the EU countries on the €20.00 fees, gives the received fee for Mexico and Japan, and says Stripe's Smart Disputes waives the countered fee.
- A signature your company locked stays exactly as set, even when you ask for another sign-off, and the answer ends by saying who locked it.
- The listing now says it reads your business file's Terms, Policies and Services, and adds what's new to it only after you say yes.
- The worked example now says the submit deadline is its respond-by date, and which submit date its outcome check counts from.
- Version 1.0.0 · 22 Oct 2026
An update that needs more access than yours waits for your yes.
