Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 21 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 21 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 21 October 2026. Version 1.0.1 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: Google Merchant Center accepts a GTIN only when its check digit is present and correct, and says never to guess or make up a GTIN (Google) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: A UK sale should run no longer than its 'was' price ran just before it, with no fixed number of days, and with significant sales at the 'was' price (the Chartered Trading Standards Institute's pricing guidance, April 2026) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: When a merchant is also the manufacturer and only seller, Google says to use the store name as the brand and give an MPN of the merchant's own choosing instead of submitting identifier exists as false (Google) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

What the badge means and how we test

The whole example

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Today is Oct 16, 2026. Merchant Center disapproved 22 of my WooCommerce products. 4 rows from the export (ID, SKU, Name, Regular price, Sale price, Sale ends, GTIN, Brand): 211, HK-MUG-12, Speckled Stoneware Mug 12 oz, 22.00, , , 062918403751, Hearth & Kiln 214, JL-CAN-08, BEST SELLER!! FIG CANDLE - FREE SHIPPING, 28.00, 30.00, , , 215, JL-CAN-09, Cedar & Sage Soy Candle 8 oz, 28.00, 21.00, , , Juniper Lane Home 219, JL-CAN-08, Cedar Candle Gift Set, 46.00, , , , We pour all the candles ourselves. Fix them and save the fixes and the import file to my Google Drive.

Without the skill

I can't save to Drive until I have a few answers, since several rows can't be fully fixed yet. Today is October 21, 2026 on my end, not October 16, so I'll use the later date for any sale dates.

Draft fixed rows (ID, SKU, Name, Regular, Sale, Sale ends, GTIN, Brand)

211, HK-MUG-12, Hearth & Kiln Stoneware Mug, Speckled, 12 oz, 22.00, , , 062918403751, Hearth & Kiln 214, JL-CAN-08, Juniper Lane Home Fig Candle, [size?], 28.00, (cleared), , , Juniper Lane Home 215, JL-CAN-09, Juniper Lane Home Soy Candle, Cedar & Sage, 8 oz, 28.00, 21.00, [end date?], , Juniper Lane Home 219, [new SKU?], Juniper Lane Home Candle Gift Set, [contents?], 46.00, , , , Juniper Lane Home

What I changed

  • Titles now follow brand, product type, then key details. I removed "BEST SELLER!!" and "FREE SHIPPING" from 214.
  • 214's sale price (30.00) was higher than its regular price (28.00), so I cleared it.
  • 214 and 219 had no brand, so I used Juniper Lane Home, based on 215.
  • The candles are handmade, so they have no GTINs. I left those blank, and I'll mark them "identifier exists: no" in the import file.

What I need from you

  1. GTIN on 211: 062918403751 fails the UPC check digit (the last digit would need to be 5). Please check it against the packaging or your GS1 record.
  2. Duplicate SKU: 214 and 219 both use JL-CAN-08. What should the gift set's SKU be? Or is 214 the one that's wrong?
  3. 214: What is the candle size? Is 28.00 the correct regular price, or should it be 30.00?
  4. 215: Should the 21.00 sale have an end date? If so, what date?
  5. 219: What's in the gift set (scents, count, sizes)? I'll put that in the title.
  6. Brand: Is Juniper Lane Home correct for 214 and 219?

What I'll save once you answer (both in Google Drive)

  • "Merchant Center fixes – October 21, 2026" (Google Sheet): the complete fixed rows with a change log.
  • "woocommerce-import-batch1.csv": the WooCommerce import file with the same rows.

PRODUCT CATALOGUE TIDY-UP

What's blocking Google: a GTIN with a bad check digit (211), a sale price above the regular price (214), a duplicate SKU (214 and 219), a promotional title (214), and a sale with no end date (215).

ID Field Fix Why
211 GTIN To check: the box, or ask Hearth & Kiln From the right, 5, 7, 3, 0, 4, 8, 1, 9, 2, 6, 0 times 3, 1, 3, 1... sum to 75, so the check digit should be 5, not 1. I won't change it to fit.
214 Name Juniper Lane Home Fig Candle (size to check) No promotional text or capitals. Add the oz once you confirm it.
214 Brand; MPN Juniper Lane Home; JL-CAN-08 You pour it, so there's no GTIN.
214 Sale price To check: 30.00 is above 28.00. Clear it, or fix the figure? A sale must be below the regular price.
215 Sale end To check: your end date With no end date the sale never ends. If it has run for months, make 21.00 the regular price.
219 SKU JL-GIF-01 (my suggestion, your call) 214 and 219 both hold JL-CAN-08.
219 Name; Brand; MPN Juniper Lane Home Cedar Candle Gift Set; Juniper Lane Home; JL-GIF-01 Same reasoning as 214.

Import CSV (only confirmed changes; 214's name waits on its size, so I've left it out):

ID,Name,SKU
219,Juniper Lane Home Cedar Candle Gift Set,JL-GIF-01

Brand and MPN go on each product's Google for WooCommerce tab, not in the CSV.

Steps: make a fresh export as a backup. Then import the CSV (it's under your 5-row test size, so it's all one batch) with Update existing products ticked. Check 219 on the shop, then press Run the importer yourself.

Dates:

  • Monday, October 19: Mia imports and checks.
  • Tuesday, October 20: check the sync and request reviews.
  • Thursday, October 29: check again.

Google Drive: I'd create two new files, "Catalogue tidy-up tracker" (.xlsx) and "WooCommerce import CSV" (.csv). Shall I save both? Please also tell me 214's size and sale price, and 215's end date.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Give it your WooCommerce product export. It checks every product against Google Merchant Center's product data rules and WooCommerce's own fields: titles, GTIN barcodes and their check digits, brand and MPN, regular and sale prices, sale end dates and duplicate SKUs. It writes each fix with the reason, and a clean CSV for WooCommerce's importer, with a small test batch first.

It never makes up a barcode or a former price. Your browser helper can make the changes in your shop's admin, one product at a time, and it stops before Update so you press it yourself. A tracker and dated checks follow what Google still flags over the next days.

If your WordPress.com connector reads products (on paid WordPress.com plans, or sites connected with Jetpack AI or Complete), it can read your product names and descriptions. It can save the tracker and the import file to your Google Drive after you say yes.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

Not made by or affiliated with WooCommerce.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your online shop or your cloud files to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the Shop's WordPress admin: each listed product's editor or the product importer, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Save yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It keeps a tracker of where things are up to and plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
