Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 24 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 24 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 24 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: Delaware LLCs pay an annual tax of $400 (raised from $300 by House Bill 400, in effect since 1 January 2026) by 1 June for the year before (Delaware Division of Corporations, United States) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: A new director gives their Companies House personal code as part of the appointment filing, so they verify their identity first, and the change is notified within 14 days (Companies House, United Kingdom) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: Directors pass a solvency resolution within 2 months of the annual review date; if it is negative or none is passed in that time, the company lodges Form 485 within 7 days (ASIC, Australia) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Please fill in the new director appointment for Harbour Lane Trading Ltd (company number 09876543) on Companies House for me, I'll sign in. Grace Owusu became a director on Monday 19 October 2026. Service address: 2 Dock Street, Hull HU1 1AA. Occupation: finance director. Nationality: British. She hasn't done the identity check yet, she says she'll get round to it. Today is 23 October 2026.

Without the skill

I can't sign in to or file on Companies House for you, but here is a pack to work from. I've treated today as 24 October 2026 (your calendar's date), not 23 October.

Blocker: identity verification Since 18 November 2025, a new director must verify their identity before being appointed, and the appointment filing asks for her personal code. Grace can't be filed without it, so she needs to verify now (GOV.UK or via an authorised corporate service provider) and send you the code. Please don't treat "she'll get round to it" as acceptable. Until she verifies, she shouldn't act as a director, and the company risks a late or rejected filing.

Deadline: the appointment must be notified within 14 days of 19 October 2026, so by 2 November 2026. That is 9 days away.

Only if you've connected them to your AI app. It works without them too.

  • Cloud files (for example SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive): Read the entity list and officer registers you name, and prepare a resolution or letter as a draft Docusign envelope. Reads: The entity list and officer registers you name, and nothing else in the drive Creates: Docusign only: one draft envelope with the resolution or letter and its signers in order, only after a yes. Never sent: you send it. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: You paste or upload the entity list; resolutions and letters come copy-ready, or as a .docx if the app can make files.
  • Calendar (for example Outlook Calendar or Google Calendar): Put each company's due dates and their warnings in your own calendar. Creates: The due date and the 30-day warning for each filing, with the company and filing only, each only after a yes, with no invitees. Outlook where the admin allows it. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: Each event is given as Title, Date and Time lines to add by hand, or a calendar file (.ics) after a yes.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Give it your group's entity list, or point it to the file in your drive. You get one register of every company, each filing and payment with its due date and a warning before it, every officer or address change with its notice deadline, and each director's identity check or ID with the date it's needed.

It follows each company's own registry: deadlines counted from a review or anniversary date, a filing the registry won't accept until every director is verified, fees and taxes that changed this year, and registers that no longer have to be kept. It drafts the notes to directors and the resolutions for them to decide.

When you ask, it fills the filing on the registry's website through your browser agent after you sign in, and stops before Submit and any payment. It can read your entity list from SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive, add due dates to Outlook or Google Calendar and prepare an unsent Docusign envelope, each after you say yes. Each director does their own identity check, and codes and ID numbers never go in the chat. It gives general information, not legal advice.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the company registry's online service, on its form for this filing for this company, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

Works with your apps.

  • Cloud files (for example SharePoint, OneDrive or Google Drive): read the entity list and officer registers you name, and prepare a resolution or letter as a draft Docusign envelope. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.
  • Calendar (for example Outlook Calendar or Google Calendar): put each company's due dates and their warnings in your own calendar. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.
