A yearly price, kept up to date with each year's rules.

Example, shortened, from this skill's page. Someone asks their AI: Wellstead Physio & Podiatry, Leeds. Amira Hussain, our practice nurse: her NMC renewal date is… Clinic Registrations, Insurance and Training Renewals answers: The answer: Nobody is off the roster today, but Amira's mid-January plan is too late. A.H.: 31 Jan 2027 (application due 1 Jan…; A.H.: Not given (ends); A.H.: Not given (ends).

This skill gives general information, not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer about your own situation.

See the difference. Same question, two answers.

Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 24 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 24 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.1 on 24 October 2026. Version 1.0.3 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: A New York license is valid for life, but to practise each licensee must re-register every three years and stay currently registered, so the registration date is tracked (NYSED Office of the Professions) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a tricky case What it tested: An NMC revalidation application is due on the first day of the month in which registration expires, or registration automatically lapses (Nursing and Midwifery Council) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: A registered practitioner must not practise without professional indemnity insurance in force, and must give the Board written notice within 7 days of becoming aware it is no longer in place (National Law, sections 129 and 130) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Wellstead Physio & Podiatry, Leeds. Amira Hussain, our practice nurse: her NMC renewal date is 31 January 2027 and it's her revalidation year. She says she'll do the revalidation in mid-January when it's quiet, well before the 31st. Add her to the register and write her a short note with the dates. Sign it from Priya, Practice Manager. Today is 23 October 2026.

Without the skill

I haven't seen your existing register in this chat, so the table below has only Amira's row. Paste it in if you'd like her merged into the full list. I've also taken today as 24 October 2026, not 23 October.

Her next monthly check falls on Monday 2 November 2026, the first working day of November. The 30-day reminder (1 January 2027) is a bank holiday, and the 7-day reminder (24 January 2027) is a Sunday, so you may want to send those on the nearest working day.

Note to Amira

Subject: Your NMC renewal and revalidation dates

Hi Amira,

I've added you to the practice register. Here are your dates:

  • NMC renewal date: 31 January 2027
  • Revalidation: due this year, and you plan to complete it in mid-January 2027
  • Reminders from me: 2 December 2026, 1 January 2027 and 24 January 2027

Mid-January sounds sensible, as it leaves a good margin before 31 January. If anything changes, please let me know.

Could you also send me the dates of your latest CPR and first aid training so I can add them to the register?

Thanks,

Priya Patel Practice Manager The Wellstead Clinic Team

CLINIC COMPLIANCE REGISTER

The answer: Nobody is off the roster today, but Amira's mid-January plan is too late. The NMC revalidation application is due on the first day of the month her registration ends, so for a 31 January 2027 renewal date it is due Friday 1 January 2027. If it isn't in by then, her registration lapses automatically, she is removed from the register and she can't practise as a nurse. Readmission can take up to six weeks. The NMC online application opens 60 days before the due date, about Monday 2 November 2026, so she can do it from then.

The rule: NMC nurses revalidate every three years and pay the annual fee every year (£143 since 1 October 2026). Registration lapses if the fee isn't paid by its due date or the revalidation application isn't in by the application date.

Note:

Subject: Your NMC revalidation before 1 January 2027

Hi Amira,

Our register shows your NMC renewal date is 31 January 2027. Your revalidation application is due by Friday 1 January 2027, not the 31st, and the NMC application opens around Monday 2 November 2026. Please submit it by Friday 11 December 2026 so there's a safety margin, and send us your confirmation. Please also send your current indemnity certificate and CPR and first aid certificate.

The Wellstead Clinic Team

You asked for it to be signed from Priya, Practice Manager. That's set by Wellstead Physio & Podiatry and locked. Your Trilly admin can change it.

What it would create: reminders titled "NMC revalidation: A.H." on Monday 2 November 2026, Wednesday 2 December 2026 and Thursday 24 December 2026 (moved back from Christmas Day). No calendar is connected, so these are ready to add at 9 am.

Next steps:

Friday 11 December 2026 Amira Submit and send the confirmation

This is general information, not legal advice. For legal advice: a solicitor, a law centre or Citizens Advice. For what the rules require: the NMC.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Give it your staff list, or connect the sheet you keep it in. You get one register of every clinician's registration, professional indemnity insurance, CPR and first aid, checks and required training, plus the clinic's own registrations: what ends when, who can't work today, and what each person needs to do.

It applies the rules for where each clinician practises: renewal dates by profession, a deadline that comes before the renewal date, a late period or none, a licence that never expires beside a registration that does, and conditions that limit the roster. Reminders come before each date, with a note written for each clinician, and a monthly check leaves a summary ready for an audit.

You check each person on the regulator's public register yourself and send each note. It can read your staff list from Google Sheets or Excel and certificates from Google Drive or OneDrive, start the register as a new Google sheet, and add reminders to Google Calendar or Outlook, each after you say yes. It gives general information, not legal advice. Use clinicians' first names or initials, and leave names out on a personal AI account.

You choose: it reads your connected apps and, where your AI app's connection can make changes, changes things only in Google Sheets, Excel, Google Calendar and Outlook, after your yes each time, or you paste things in and get copy-ready text, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your spreadsheets, your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

Works with your apps.

  • Spreadsheets (for example Google Sheets or Excel): read the staff list or register you name, and start the register as a new Google sheet. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.
  • Cloud files (for example Google Drive or OneDrive): read the certificates in the folder you name, for their end dates. It only reads.
  • Calendar (for example Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar): put the reminders before each renewal date and the monthly check in your own calendar. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.

The apps it can use

  • Spreadsheets Google Sheets Reads, and asks before it changes anything Also works with Excel
  • Cloud files Google Drive Only reads Also works with OneDrive
  • Calendar Google Calendar Asks before it adds or changes anything Also works with Outlook Calendar

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • Set up a register of our clinicians' registration, insurance and CPR renewal dates, with reminders before each one

To check it's working, the answer should start with "CLINIC COMPLIANCE REGISTER".

  • health practitioner registration renewal

  • clinic compliance checklist
