Show the answer

9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 24 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 24 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 24 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: A child care deposit paid before the care is provided counts only in the year the care is received, and a deposit forfeited because the child goes elsewhere is never a work-related expense (Internal Revenue Service, Publication 503) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: In England, for a parent who returns to work at the end of maternity leave in the period 1 February to 30 April, the working-parent funded hours begin on 1 April and the application window is 1 January to 31 March (Department for Education, GOV.UK, United Kingdom) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: A Child Care Subsidy claim can be backdated no more than 28 days before it's submitted, and CCS is paid only after the claim is approved and the family confirms the enrolment (Services Australia) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

What the badge means and how we test

The whole example

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Please fill in the waitlist form on Little Acorns Nursery's website in Leeds for our son Theo. He was born in February 2026 (I'll type his date of birth myself). We want 3 days a week, Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 6pm, to start in January 2027. I'm on maternity leave and go back to work on 1 March 2027; my partner works full time. We'll use the 30 free hours when he starts in January. Today is 23 October 2026.

CHILDCARE PLAN

I'll use the card below on Little Acorns Nursery's own waitlist page. You sign in yourself, and any code goes straight into the site, never into this chat. Use your browser agent in careful mode (Manually approve or Always ask). It stops before Submit.

Dates first

  • Free hours: they won't start in January. Your return date of 1 March 2027 sets the clock, so the 30 hours begin Thursday 1 April 2027. Apply between Friday 1 January and Wednesday 31 March 2027. Theo's 9 months in November would give 1 January, but the later date wins. Sign in to your childcare account every 3 months and give the nursery the new 11-digit code. Until April, January to March is likely fully paid, so ask Little Acorns for its fees. Department for Education (GOV.UK) decides. This is general information, not financial advice.
  • Chase: Friday 6 November 2026, if you join today.

Card

  • Goal: Join the waitlist for Theo at Little Acorns Nursery, Leeds, and stop before Submit
  • Site: Little Acorns Nursery's own online waitlist form, Leeds, for Theo only; go nowhere else
  • Fields and values: Child's first name: Theo. Child's last name: to confirm. Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Hours: 8am to 6pm. Start date wanted: January 2027. Parent: Amy Clarke; contact details to confirm. Second parent: name and contact to confirm. Care notes: parent on maternity leave until 1 March 2027; partner works full time
  • Files to attach: None
  • Stop points: Before Submit, Send or Pay; before any button that makes it live, sends or pays (Save wherever saving publishes); at any sign-in, code, CAPTCHA, age or ID check, payment, terms, account creation, declaration or signature
  • Never do: Type Theo's date of birth or any ID, tax, health or bank number (you type those); pay a waitlist fee; tick a consent or declaration
  • Report back: What it entered, any field it couldn't fill, any reference shown, and that it stopped before Submit

Please send me Theo's last name, your contact details and your partner's name and contact details, and I'll write them into the card. Check every value and press Submit yourself. If there's a waitlist fee, you pay it.

Next steps

Date Who What
Today, Friday 23 October 2026 You Submit the form, type Theo's date of birth
Friday 6 November 2026 You Send the chaser (I'll write it)
Friday 1 January 2027 You Apply for the free hours

Add the waitlist date of 23 October 2026, the 30 free hours a week starting 1 April 2027 with the 31 March 2027 application deadline, and the January 2027 nursery start to your family file?

The internet
  • By itself: it contacts no websites.
  • Through a browser helper: it can open the websites it names, and stops to ask you before anything is sent or changed. See "Websites for you" below.
  • Through apps you connect: see "Apps you've connected" below.

Apps you've connected

Only if you've connected them to your AI app. It works without them too.

  • Email (for example Gmail): Find the providers' replies about waitlists and offers, instead of pasting them. Reads: Replies from the providers you name, only the ones they pick Doesn't create or change anything. Without it: You paste the replies; chasers are written in the chat for them to send.
  • Calendar (for example Google Calendar): Add the chase dates, fee-help windows and the first day of care. Creates: A reminder event on each chase date, each fee-help application window and the first day of care, each only after a yes Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: Reminders come as Title, Date and Time lines to add by hand, or a calendar file (.ics) after a yes.
Where your information goes
  • The child's first name and age, the days, hours and start date, and the family's budget: Stays in the chat, and in the family's own calendar and family file after a yes. First name and age only; no full date of birth, ID, tax or health numbers.
  • The hand-off card: the child's name, days, hours, start date and the parents' contact details: The one provider's own website named on the card, through your own browser agent, only when they ask Only what the waitlist form needs; the parent types any date of birth or ID number on the site.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Tell it your days, hours, start date and budget. It shortlists places from the providers' own pages, then your browser helper can fill in each waitlist form for you to check, stopping before you press Submit. It chases each waitlist on the dates you choose and keeps a log of every reply.

It works out the help with fees where you are, with the date it really starts, what you need to claim and by when, and the limits that changed this year, and gives you the claim steps to follow in your own account. Then it checks the enrolment, the subsidy and the first statement.

With Gmail connected it finds the providers' replies, reading only the ones you pick, and with Google Calendar it can add the chase dates after you say yes. It never submits, pays or applies for you, and it gives general information, not financial advice. Use your child's first name, and leave names out on a personal AI account.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the centre's, nursery's or childminder's own online waitlist or enrolment form named in this chat, for this child only, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your family file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • I go back to work in five months and every childcare place has a waitlist. How do we get a place and help with fees?

To check it's working, the answer should start with "CHILDCARE PLAN".

  • how to find childcare

  • childcare waitlist tips
