Timeline

Date Event Ref
Mid August 2026 Repeated drops begin –
10 September 2026 Complaint by phone SKY-55812
24 September 2026 Engineer visit, fault not fixed –
2 October 2026 New ticket SKY-60231
9 October 2026 New ticket SKY-61477

Sums £42.00 × 12 ÷ 365 = £1.38 a day (£1.381 unrounded). 12 days × £1.381 = £16.57 for lost service.

Straight answers

  • 8-week rule: You can usually take it to the ombudsman/ADR scheme after 8 weeks, which is 5 November 2026 from 10 September, or earlier if Skylark sends a "deadlock" letter. Check which scheme Skylark uses (Ombudsman Services or CISAS).
  • Will you definitely win? No one can promise that. Your evidence is strong: a failed repair and three tickets. Keep a log of outages. Realistic outcomes are a fix, a refund and some compensation for the trouble.
  • Suing: Not as well. The ombudsman is free, and you can reject its decision. A county court claim over about £17 plus inconvenience is rarely worth the fee and effort, and courts expect you to try ADR first.

Skylark Broadband – Complaints Department

Formal complaint: repeated broadband failure (refs SKY-55812, SKY-60231, SKY-61477)

My broadband has dropped repeatedly since mid August 2026. I complained by phone on 10 September 2026 (SKY-55812). An engineer attended on 24 September 2026 and did not fix the fault. I raised further tickets on 2 October 2026 (SKY-60231) and 9 October 2026 (SKY-61477). The problem remains unresolved.

I have lost about 12 days of service. At £42.00 a month (£1.38 a day), that is £16.57. I also want compensation for the time and inconvenience this has caused.

I require you to:

  1. Fix the fault permanently, with a confirmed date.
  2. Refund £16.57 and offer reasonable additional compensation.
  3. Reply in writing within 14 days, by 29 October 2026.

COMPLAINT ESCALATION PLAN

Where you stand: The wait is now 6 weeks, not 8 (it changed on 8 April 2026). Counting from 10 September 2026, you can take the case to Skylark's Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme (probably the Communications Ombudsman) from 22 October 2026, or sooner if Skylark sends a deadlock letter. Check the current rule with Ofcom or the scheme. I can't say whether you'd win, and I can't advise on suing. A lawyer or Citizens Advice can help with that.

Date What happened Reference Evidence
mid August 2026 Drops began (exact date not known) none Your notes
10 September 2026 First complaint, by phone SKY-55812 Call date, your notes
24 September 2026 Engineer visited, no fix not known Your notes
2 October 2026 New ticket, same fault SKY-60231 Ticket
9 October 2026 New ticket, same fault SKY-61477 Ticket

The new tickets are one complaint, still running from 10 September.

What you're asking for: £42.00 / 30 x 12 days = £16.80 credit, plus a permanent fix. Total: £16.80 and a working connection.

Subject: Formal complaint, SKY-55812, SKY-60231 and SKY-61477

My broadband has dropped repeatedly since mid August 2026. I first complained by phone on 10 September, and an engineer visit on 24 September did not fix it. Tickets SKY-60231 and SKY-61477 are the same complaint. Please fix the fault and credit £16.80 (£42.00 / 30 x 12 days without service). Please send your final response in writing by 22 October 2026. If it isn't resolved by then, I'll take it to the Communications Ombudsman.

Next steps:

  • Today, you: send the letter.
  • 22 October 2026, you: if there's no fix or deadlock letter, register the case with the scheme named in Skylark's complaints procedure.
  • Before then, you: find the exact outage dates and the engineer visit reference.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Paste in your chats, emails, ticket numbers and bills. You get a dated timeline of what happened, what you're asking for with the sums shown, and a calm, firm letter to the company or the text for the ombudsman's or regulator's form.

It works out whether the company has had its chance, the earliest date you can escalate, and any last date to do it, from the official rules where you are. Every next step gets a date and says who does it. It treats new ticket numbers for the same problem as one complaint.

It gives general information, not legal advice. It never threatens the company, predicts the outcome or claims more than you can show. It never submits, signs declarations or accepts offers for you, and it never needs your account or ID numbers. Use first names or initials for staff you spoke to.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the official complaint form of the one ombudsman or regulator chosen in step 6, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your admin file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

Does it for you.

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • how to escalate a complaint against internet provider

To check it's working, the answer should start with "COMPLAINT ESCALATION PLAN".

  • energy ombudsman complaint how to

  • company not resolving my complaint what next
