9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 25 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 25 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

This result is for version 2.0.2's skill files as you add them to Claude. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

You ask

Today is Saturday 24 October 2026. I was a casual at Harbourside Gifts in Parramatta (retail, level 1) until Saturday 10 October. My roster export and payslips for the year are attached. They paid me $33.19 an hour flat for everything, weekends and public holidays too, and never paid my last week. Am I underpaid, and by how much? Gmail and Google Calendar are connected: look for any other payslips from Harbourside payroll and remind me of the dates. Sign the demand 'Lena O.' for this one.

Without the skill

Let me start by looking at the files.Blank break = 0. Fix and rerun.Short answer: yes, you look underpaid by about $9,809.40 plus super of about $1,177.13. I couldn't verify the award rates offline, so check the figures before you send anything.

How I worked it out

  • The roster has 183 worked shifts (1,069 hours) from 6 October 2025 to 10 October 2026. I excluded 3 cancelled shifts. The roster hours match your payslip hours in every pay period.
  • I used the General Retail Industry Award 2020, Level 1 casual. I took the base rate as $27.48 from 1 July 2025, which is from memory, so please check it against the Fair Work pay guide.
  • The multipliers are on the base rate and include the 25% casual loading: weekday ordinary 125%, weekday after 6 pm 150%, Saturday 150%, Sunday 175%, public holiday 250%.
  • I treated 6 October 2025, 25 and 26 December 2025, 1 January 2026, 26 January 2026, 3 to 6 April 2026, 25 April 2026, 8 June 2026 and 5 October 2026 as NSW public holidays.
  • I assumed unpaid breaks come out of the non-penalty part of a shift.
Item Owed under the award Paid Shortfall
26 payslips (to 4 October 2026) $43,779.04 $34,866.18 $8,912.86
Unpaid final period (5, 8 and 10 October 2026; 18.5 hours) $896.54 $0 $896.54
Total $9,809.40
  • Super at 12% on the shortfall is about $1,177.13.
  • The flat $33.19 is just the 2024–25 casual rate. It was already below the award for ordinary hours, and it ignored the weekend and public holiday penalties.
  • The figure is probably conservative. I used $27.48 for the whole period, so any 1 July 2026 increase isn't included.

Gmail (not run yet) I would search for mail from Harbourside Gifts or its payroll with "payslip", "pay advice" or "remittance" in it, from 1 October 2025 to today. I would list each sender, date and pay period, and check them against your 26 payslips. I'll stop here until you let me run that.

UNPAID WAGES CLAIM

You're owed $9,428.52 over 163 shifts (183 checked), from 6 October 2025 to 10 October 2026. The last safe date is Wednesday 22 October 2031, six years from the oldest underpayment. The next step is to send the demand below.

Cause Amount Shifts
Penalty rates (weekend, evening, public holiday) $7,538.06 132
Final pay not paid (5, 8 and 10 Oct 2026) $903.90 3
Minimum 3-hour shift not met $568.94 17
Pay rate below the award rate $417.62 45
  • Penalty rates: Monday 6 October 2025 was Labour Day, 10:00 to 16:00. That is 5.5 h at $66.38 (250% of $26.55), which is $365.09. You were paid 5.5 h x $33.19. Owed: $182.55.
  • Final pay: Monday 5 October 2026 was also Labour Day. That is 5.5 h at $69.53 (250% of $27.81), or $382.42.
  • Pay rate below the award rate: Saturday 18 July 2026, 7.5 h x ($34.76 − $33.19) = $11.78. Casual loading is added, never multiplied: a casual Sunday is 175% of base. The $33.19 flat rate was also under the casual ordinary rate ($34.76) after the July 2026 increase. That rate applied from the pay period starting Monday 13 July 2026.
  • Minimum shift length: Tuesday 28 July 2026, 16:00 to 18:00, 1 h short of 3 h x $34.76.

Not in the count: I can't confirm your award or level from records alone, and allowances aren't included. Super (12%) on these wages is owed on top, so check that separately. No penalties are added.

Deadlines

  • Final pay was due within 7 days of your last day, which was Saturday 17 October 2026. That date has passed.
  • Employer reply: Monday 2 November 2026. I moved it from Saturday 31 October to a working day.
  • File the claim: Tuesday 3 November 2026, if it's still unpaid.
  • Backstop reminder: Wednesday 8 October 2031.

Subject: Wages owed to Lena Okafor: payment by 2 November 2026

Dear Harbourside Gifts,

I worked for you as a casual retail employee (level 1) at Parramatta until 10 October 2026. By my records I'm owed $9,428.52 over 163 shifts:

  • Penalty rates not paid under the General Retail Industry Award: $7,538.06.
  • Final pay for 5, 8 and 10 October 2026: $903.90.
  • The 3-hour minimum engagement: $568.94.
  • Pay below the award's casual rate: $417.62.

These figures use the Fair Work Ombudsman pay guide rates in force on each shift. I was paid a flat $33.19 an hour. Please pay $9,428.52, with a payslip, into the account you pay me into by Monday 2 November 2026. Please also confirm the super owed on this amount.

If it isn't paid by then, my next step is a claim to the Fair Work Ombudsman or a small claims application. I keep the right to claim anything else owed.

Lena O., lena.okafor@example.com 24 October 2026

Claim route: Fair Work Ombudsman (Infoline 13 13 94, free). Small claims for underpayments up to $100,000 go to the Federal Circuit and Family Court or a state court. A demand doesn't pause the six-year limit.

Email and calendar: I haven't run either yet. I would search Gmail, read-only, for payslips from "Harbourside" or its payroll sender and list them for you to pick from. Attachments need adding here. I would add three events to Google Calendar, each only after your yes:

  1. Reply due, 2 November 2026
  2. File claim, 3 November 2026
  3. Last safe date reminder, 8 October 2031

Should I run the Gmail search? Do you want the shift table as a file, and a copy-ready claim sheet or a walk-through for the form?

This is general information, not legal advice. For legal advice: a lawyer, or the Fair Work Ombudsman (13 13 94) or a community legal centre.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Add your payslips and your roster, timesheet or clock records, even a whole year of them. It prices every shift at the rate that was in force that day where you worked, and starts with the count: you're owed this much over this many shifts. The causes are ranked, from weekend and evening rates to overtime, casual loading, unpaid time, deductions, final pay and holiday pay, each with a shift and its working.

Then it writes a polite query or a firm demand, finds the claim route and counts the time limit from the right day. When you ask, your browser helper fills in the labour agency's claim form and stops before Submit. A tracker and reminders keep the claim moving until you're paid.

If Gmail is connected it can find your payslip emails, reading only the ones you pick, and with Google Calendar it adds each reminder after you say yes. It never contacts your employer, sends anything or files the claim for you. It gives general information, not legal advice, and names the free help where you are.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the labour agency's online wage claim or conciliation form, after you sign in, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your career file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
