9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 29 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 29 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.1 on 29 October 2026. Version 1.0.3 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: NYC Department of Buildings: SST cards issued by Redcode Inc. are invalidated; holders must get a new SST card from a DOB registered course provider by Monday, December 7, 2026 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: Revenue NSW (form OPT 011): a subcontractor that itself engages subcontractors must hold their written subcontractor's statements for the same period before signing its own statement for a payment claim 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: CSCS: the Labourer card is for labouring work; skilled workers holding a Labourer card will be refused site access, so they need the card for their occupation 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

You ask

Google Drive and Google Calendar are connected. Crew tickets and our COIs are in the Drive folder 'Compliance 2026'. We start on Halsted Construction's job at 455 W 37th St, Manhattan, on Monday, November 2 for about 8 weeks. Crew: Luis Pena, SST card from Redcode Inc, issued March 2025; Tom Reyes, SST card expires December 15, 2026; Ana Cruz, SST card good to 2029. Our general liability policy renews January 1, 2027. Who's good for the start? Set up the register and reminders. Today is Friday, October 23, 2026.

Without the skill

Start on November 2, 2026 (job runs about to December 28, 2026)

Crew Status Why
Ana Cruz Good SST good to 2029, covers the whole job.
Tom Reyes Good to start, but not for the full job Expires December 15, 2026, about 6 weeks in. He needs a renewed card before then or he comes off site.
Luis Pena Hold until verified You gave an issue date (March 2025) but no expiry or card type. I won't assume. I need to see the card and confirm Redcode Inc is on the NYC DOB approved-provider list.

Insurance: The general liability policy runs through the job but renews January 1, 2027. Get the renewed COI to Halsted before then, and check whether their contract wants it earlier.

Reminder dates (60/30 days):

  • Tom's SST: 60-day was October 16, 2026 (already passed, so act now). 30-day is November 15, 2026.
  • GL renewal: November 2, 2026 and December 2, 2026.
  • Luis and Ana: dates set once I confirm their exact expiry from the cards.

Monthly checks (first working day): November 2 and December 1, 2026; January 4 and February 1, 2027. I'd make this one recurring event.

What I'd do in your apps (nothing is created yet):

  1. Drive: Open "Compliance 2026" and read Luis's, Tom's and Ana's SST card scans and the GL COI to confirm names, card types, expiry dates and policy number.
  2. Drive: Create the spreadsheet "Westside Drywall – Compliance Register 2026" with columns for item, person, document, issuer, issued, expires, 60-day date, 30-day date, status and notes. Rows: Luis, Tom, Ana, GL policy.
  3. Calendar: Create the reminder events above, plus the monthly check, at 9:00 AM Eastern.

LICENCES, INSURANCE AND TICKETS

What stops work first: Luis and Tom can start November 2, but neither card lasts the whole job (about 8 weeks, to roughly December 28). Ana is clear.

Worker Card Through the job? Fix, who, by when
Luis P. SST, Redcode Inc No. To check: Redcode cards are invalidated, last day on site Monday, December 7, 2026 New SST card from a DOB registered course provider before December 7 (the sooner the better)
Tom R. SST, expires December 15, 2026 No. Stops mid-job 8-hour refresher before December 15. An expired card can't be used on site, even in the one-year renewal window
Ana C. SST, good to 2029 Yes None. To check: the exact date on her card

Insurance: Your general liability policy renews January 1, 2027, so it covers the job, but the renewal falls right after it. If Halsted wants to be an additional insured, the certificate alone won't do it. Ask your insurer for the endorsement.

I would read the 'Compliance 2026' folder in Drive for the cards and COIs and take every expiry from those documents. I haven't read it yet, so the dates above are the ones you gave me.

Register (short)

Holder Item Expiry Status
Westside Drywall LLC General liability January 1, 2027 In date; renews after the job
Luis P. SST (Redcode) December 7, 2026 To check: invalidated
Tom R. SST December 15, 2026 Due; renew first
Ana C. SST 2029 In date
Date Who What
Now Luis, Tom Book the courses
Monday, November 2 Carmen Monthly check, and a GL renewal reminder (60 days)
Friday, November 6 Luis Renewal reminder (30 days)
Friday, November 13 Tom Renewal reminder (30 days)
Wednesday, December 2 Carmen GL renewal reminder (30 days)
Tuesday, December 1 Carmen Monthly check

The 60-day reminders for Luis and Tom have already passed, so I left them out. Shall I add these as all-day Google Calendar events? Reply yes and I'll create them.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Turned away from a site over an expired ticket? Keep every licence, insurance policy, accreditation and crew card in one register with its expiry, read from the documents themselves. It reminds you before each one runs out, checks the crew before every site start, and catches cards that stop counting early, can't be renewed, or need a fresh test first.

For each head contractor it builds the prequalification pack from your business file in their order, names what's missing, and gives every answer ready to paste. Your browser helper can fill the head contractor's portal and stop before the declarations and Submit, so you check and press it.

If Google Drive is connected it reads your certificates and cards, read only; it can add reminders to Google Calendar after you say yes. It gives general information, not legal advice.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

Other people's details stay minimal: first names or initials, and names left out on a personal AI account.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the website it names, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. The browser helper stops and asks you before anything is sent or changed, and never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • We start on a new site Monday. Check my crew's tickets and our insurance, and tell me what's missing for the head contractor's prequal.

To check it's working, the answer should start with "LICENCES, INSURANCE AND TICKETS".

  • subcontractor prequalification documents

  • track trade licences and insurance expiry
