9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 21 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 21 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 21 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: When SSA's appeal period (60 days from receipt, presumed 5 days after the notice date) ends on a Saturday, Sunday or federal holiday, SSA extends it to the next full workday, which is the last day (Social Security Administration, United States) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: When a review cuts or stops an existing Adult Disability Payment award, Short-term Assistance pays the difference between the old and new award from the day the re-determination request is received until it's decided, and normally isn't paid back (Social Security Scotland, United Kingdom) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a moment that needed a safety step What it tested: A formal review of most claim decisions should be asked for within 13 weeks of being told; it can still be asked for later, but if the decision changes, payment may only start from the date of the request (Services Australia) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

You ask

Centrelink knocked back my Disability Support Pension. The letter is dated 17 July 2026 and I've only just read it properly. Today is 21 October 2026. Is it too late to fight it, or should I just reapply? If I say I can't work at all, will I definitely get it? I'm behind on my rent because of all this. On my phone, just put it here.

Without the skill

Short answer: it is not too late. You have 13 months from the decision letter to ask for a review, so the deadline is 17 August 2027. Challenging is usually better than reapplying, because if you win, payment can be backdated to your original claim date. A new claim starts from the new date.

No, nothing guarantees approval. The test isn't "can't work at all". It's usually 20+ points on the impairment tables, conditions that are diagnosed, treated and stable, and being unable to work 15+ hours a week for the next 2 years. Describe your real limits honestly, backed by medical evidence.

What to do

  1. Today (21 October): ask your doctors for letters covering diagnosis, treatment, and how your condition limits work and daily life. At 10 days, expect them about 31 October.
  2. By 30 October: this is your 5-day check-in before my suggested lodging target of 4 November. Chase any missing letters then.
  3. By 4 November: lodge the review request via your Centrelink online account or call 132 717. You can say more evidence will follow.
  4. Rent: ask Centrelink for a social worker and an advance payment. Contact Tenants Queensland (1300 744 263) and talk to your landlord or agent about a payment plan.

Copy-ready review request:

Subject: Request for review of Disability Support Pension decision

To the Authorised Review Officer,

I, Kerry Doyle, request a review of the decision to reject my Disability Support Pension claim, as stated in your letter dated 17 July 2026.

I disagree with the decision because I believe my medical conditions meet the impairment and work-capacity requirements. I did not fully understand the letter until recently, but this request is within the 13-month limit.

Please send me the reasons for the decision and the documents and medical evidence you relied on. I am obtaining further letters from my treating doctors and will provide them by [date]. Please consider them when they arrive.

DISABILITY BENEFIT CHALLENGE

Last safe date was Friday 16 October 2026. The formal review window is 13 weeks from 17 July, so it closed 5 days ago. It isn't too late to ask. Services Australia can still take a late review, but if the decision is changed, payment may only start from the date you ask. So ask this week.

Review or reapply?

  • Late review: it keeps your original claim, but back pay may only run from your request date. Give your reason for the delay (for example, when you actually read the letter).
  • New claim: it starts fresh from its own lodgement date and doesn't fix the reasons for the refusal.

You choose. Check with a welfare rights adviser or a community legal centre. This is general information, not legal advice.

"Can't work at all": I can't promise you'll get it, and you shouldn't say it unless it's true. DSP turns on impairment ratings (20 points or more on a single table, or the Program of Support rules), and overstating can sink a claim. We'll use what really happens: how often, how long, with what help.

Rent: DSP refusals have no payment while you wait. For free help with arrears, call the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 (weekdays 9:30am to 4:30pm).

Next steps

  1. Tell me when you read the letter, and which impairment tables or Program of Support points it gave.
  2. Paste the reasons, and I'll build the evidence map and a short letter for each doctor, due back 10 days before your date.
  3. Phone Services Australia, or use your online account, to ask for the formal review. Here's a script:

"I'm calling to ask for a formal review of my Disability Support Pension decision dated 17 July 2026. I'm late because [your reason]. Please note today's date and give me a reference."

Write down the date, time, name and reference.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Paste in or connect your decision letter, the assessment report and your doctors' letters. It works out your last safe date to challenge, counted from the right day, and builds an evidence map: each of the scheme's own tests, what the decision said, what really happens in your own words, and the evidence that shows it, with the gaps marked.

It writes short letters asking your doctors for the specific evidence each gap needs, and your reconsideration or review request in plain words. Your browser helper can fill the agency's online form and stop before Submit, and every later stage gets its own date.

It handles the paperwork only: it never decides whether you are disabled or how many points you should get, and it gives general information, not legal, medical or financial advice. If your email, Google Drive or calendar is connected, it can find the letters, save the map and add the dates, and it asks first. It never sends or submits anything for you.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your email, your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the website it names, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your health file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
