9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 21 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.
Tested by Trilly on 21 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.
Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 21 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.
We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.
| Task | With the skill | Well-prompted AI |
|---|---|---|
| Task 1 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 2 of 3: a moment that needed a safety step What it tested: Under Ontario Regulation 181/98, the principal consults the parent and, for a student 16 or older, the student in developing the IEP, and a copy goes to both, within 30 school days of the placement (Ontario Ministry of Education, Canada) | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

Goal 1: Reading fluency (week of October 19-23, 2026) S3 took part in small-group read-aloud instruction on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Thursday's probe he read 82 words per minute, up from 74 on the previous probe (an increase of 8 words per minute). He is showing growth in oral reading fluency. Small-group read-aloud will continue next week.
Goal 2: Writing with a graphic organizer (week of October 19-23, 2026) S3 used a graphic organizer on 4 of 5 days this week across writing tasks, which is 80% of opportunities. Use is fairly consistent. Next week I will prompt for organizer use on the one day it was missed so that it becomes routine for every writing task.
If your page asks for a target or a rating, such as "making sufficient progress," add it yourself, since I don't have the goal criteria. Also add the missed day's reason if you know it.
Does the December 8, 2026 annual review need anything extra? Yes, transition planning. S3 turns 15 in August 2027. Colorado requires postsecondary transition content in the first IEP in effect when a student turns 15, and the IEP you adopt on December 8, 2026 will still be in effect then. Plan for these items:

Next: Yes, I can help with the entry (card below). Yes, the December 8 meeting needs more than usual: it must add transition planning.
Transition rule (Colorado, ECEA Rules 4.03(6)(d)). Beginning with the first IEP developed when a child is 15, but no later than the end of 9th grade, the IEP includes measurable postsecondary goals based on age-appropriate transition assessments, plus transition services (including courses of study), updated annually. Students must then be invited to their own IEP meetings. Federal IDEA says 16, but Colorado's earlier rule wins. S3 is 14 and in 9th grade, so the December 8, 2026 review is the one that must add it. Next December he'd be in 10th grade, too late. This is general information, not legal advice. Confirm with your learning support lead.
Your browser agent will work on your district's IEP site, S3's progress monitoring page, in careful mode (Manually approve).

No reviews or use numbers yet. Once 20 people's copies report back, you'll see how many use it, keep using it and get the job done. The maker can't change them.

Paste each student's needs and goals from their support plan, using the school's code, and your unit plan. It writes the adjustments for every lesson and assessment, changing how a student shows learning but never what is assessed unless the plan says so.
It keeps one evidence row a week for each student, counts only school weeks, and flags anyone short of evidence before a review or a count. For each review it works out the dates the rules set where your school is, builds an evidence summary by goal, and drafts the invitation to the family. It gives general information, not legal advice.
It asks first what your school's AI policy lets you share; with rules and templates only, no student details go in. Student details stay out of what it makes: the school's code in every file and event, and first names only in a note to a family; no surname, student number, birth date or diagnosis. If your files or calendar are connected, it can open the plans you name, save a new unit copy and log, and add review dates, and it asks first. It never sends, submits or changes a plan.
You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.
Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.
Works with your apps. If you've connected your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.
Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the website it names, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Save yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.
Remembers you. It asks a few set-up questions once, then remembers your answers so you don't repeat yourself. You can change them any time.
Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
Works with your apps.
Does it for you.
Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?
Plan adjustments for S1 in my 6-lesson fractions unit: her plan says read-aloud for word problems and extra time on tests.
To check it's working, the answer should start with "STUDENT ADJUSTMENTS".
