9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 15 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 15 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 15 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a moment that needed a safety step What it tested: A quality dispute about a faulty item is not a billing error under the 60-day credit card billing-error process (Federal Trade Commission, United States) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: Within 6 months, once a faulty item has been repaired once and still doesn't work, the buyer can ask for a full refund instead of another repair (Citizens Advice, United Kingdom) 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: A business that sells a faulty product must offer a solution itself and must not send the consumer to the manufacturer; an unsafe product has a major problem, so the consumer chooses a refund or a replacement (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Australia) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

can you fill in Brightvolt's returns form for me? Order BV-90317, ProBlend blender $189.00, bought 2 October 2026. Motor smelled of burning and cut out on 12 October, first week of use. Without the skill

I can't access your Brightvolt account, so here is text for you to copy into the Start a return page. Their help page says faulty items go to the manufacturer's warranty line, so I've also asked Brightvolt to confirm in writing if they won't process this themselves. Under Australian Consumer Law, a retailer is responsible for a refund when a product has a major fault, so the wording reflects that.

Description of the problem (paste into the comments box)

I am requesting a full refund of $189.00 AUD for order BV-90317, a ProBlend blender purchased on 2 October 2026.

During the first week of use, on 12 October 2026, the motor gave off a burning smell and then cut out. I stopped using the blender immediately. This is a serious safety concern, and the product is not of acceptable quality.

I understand your help page directs faulty items to the manufacturer's warranty line. However, I purchased the blender from Brightvolt, so I am asking Brightvolt to process this refund under my consumer guarantee rights in Australia. A product that fails within ten days of purchase and presents a burning hazard has a major fault.

I have attached two files: blender-base.jpg, showing the base of the unit, and order-email.pdf, my order confirmation.

Please reply by 22 October 2026 to confirm that my refund has been approved. If Brightvolt cannot process it, please explain in writing why not and who is responsible for the refund. If I do not hear from you by that date, I will consider further options, including contacting Queensland's consumer protection agency.

Thank you for your prompt attention.

Kind regards, Sam Okafor Brisbane, Queensland

REFUND AND RETURN REQUEST

Stop using the blender, since a burning smell can mean a safety risk.

Where you stand. General information, not legal advice: the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says a business that sells a faulty product must offer a solution itself and must not send you to the manufacturer. For a major problem, you choose a refund or a replacement of the same type. Brightvolt's "go to the manufacturer" advice doesn't match that.

The request Reason: Faulty Description: My ProBlend blender (order BV-90317, bought 2 October 2026, $189.00) smelled of burning and the motor cut out on 12 October 2026, in the first week of use. Photos attached. As the business that sold it, you must offer a solution yourselves and can't send me to the manufacturer. It is unsafe, which is a major problem, so I choose a full refund to my original payment method. Please reply by 22 October 2026. Sam Okafor Remedy: Refund

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Tell it what you bought, what went wrong and what the shop has said. It works out where you stand, lists the photos and papers to attach, and writes the words for the shop's returns form or a message. If the shop refuses or ignores you, it writes a firm, polite Faulty Product Refund Letter and gives you dated next steps.

It follows the consumer rules for where you are, from official sources, and tells you who to check with. It is general information, not legal advice. It never threatens the shop or claims rights you may not have.

It can also keep a Receipts and Warranties Keeper log: what you bought, when return windows close and when warranties end, with reminders if you want them.

If your email is connected, it can find the order email you pick. If your calendar is connected, it can add reminders. Your browser helper can fill the shop's returns form for you and stops before Submit. It asks first and never sends, submits or accepts anything.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the shop's returns or "start a return" page for this order, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It keeps your admin file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • Kettle died after three weeks and the shop says it's the maker's problem. How do I get a refund?

To check it's working, the answer should start with "REFUND AND RETURN REQUEST".
