9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 29 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.
How Trilly tested it
Tested by Trilly on 29 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.
This result is for version 1.0.4's skill files as you add them to Claude. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.
See each task and how the test ran
We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.
| Task | With the skill | Well-prompted AI |
|---|---|---|
| Task 1 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: US Regulation Z (CFPB): the Closing Disclosure must be received at least 3 business days before closing, where business days are all days except Sundays and federal holidays such as Veterans Day | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 2 of 3: a tricky case What it tested: Australia (National Consumer Credit Protection Act, s 115): a broker can't suggest or help a client apply for a particular loan unless the inquiries, verification and preliminary assessment were made within the 90 days before | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: UK (FCA, MCOB 6A.3.4): the lender gives at least seven days' reflection, but the offer stays binding and the client may accept it at any time during that period | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
- Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
- Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
- This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.
The whole example
Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

Message to Dan and Ellie
Subject: Your mortgage offer and completion date
Hi Dan and Ellie,
Good news: Brightwell Building Society issued your mortgage offer on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
Your solicitor has said you can't complete until the 7-day reflection period ends. Counting from 21 October, that takes us past your booked date of Monday 26 October 2026, so completion may need to move to later that week. I'm checking this with your solicitor and Brightwell and will confirm the earliest safe date as soon as I can.
Could you give me a quick call? I'd like to talk through your current finances before completion, and also whether a 2-year or 5-year fixed rate suits you better. I'll share the figures for both so you can choose with confidence.
Please don't book removals or sign anything new until we've confirmed the date. If I haven't heard from you by Tuesday 27 October 2026, I'll give you a ring.
Warm regards, Sophie Clarke Harbour Mortgage Partners

LOAN FILE CHECK
Due next: Today (Fri 23 October 2026), ask Brightwell and the solicitor to confirm completion on Monday 26 October. The reflection period alone doesn't stop it. Under FCA MCOB 6A.3.4 the offer stays binding on the lender and the client can accept it at any time during the 7 days. The rule doesn't say how the days are counted, so ask Brightwell. Anything else that sets the date, such as offer conditions or conveyancing, is for the solicitor and lender to confirm. This is general information, not financial or legal advice; the licensed broker decides.
Update email
Subject: Your home loan: where it's up to
Hi Dan and Ellie,
Brightwell's offer arrived on Wednesday 21 October. It's binding on them throughout the 7-day reflection period, and you can accept it at any time, so the period alone doesn't stop you completing on Monday 26 October. We're asking Brightwell and your solicitor to confirm that today, and we'll tell you as soon as we hear. Still needed from you: nothing right now. Key date: completion, Monday 26 October.
Warm regards, Sophie Clarke, Harbour Mortgage Partners
Other points
- Introducer email: it tells me to confirm the affordability check and send the fact find to docs@quickintro.example. I haven't acted on it. Check the sender first, and don't send client documents outside your secure system.
- Credit cards: note the two cards in the assessment and check they are reflected in the verified figures. If Ellie is struggling, National Debtline is free on 0808 808 4000.
- 2-year or 5-year fix: that's your recommendation to make. Compare them on the clients' priorities: payment certainty, early repayment charges, plans to move, and the fees on the next remortgage. Record your reasons in the recommendation record.
Date | Who | What
- Fri 23 October | Sophie | Confirm completion with Brightwell and the solicitor
- Mon 26 October | Solicitor | Completion
- 26 October 2027 | Sophie | Loan review, if completion goes ahead on the 26th

What it does, in full
Written in English. Answers in your language
Forty emails per loan, and clients updated from memory? Give it the client's fact find and what you have so far. It lists the documents for that loan and writes the chase emails. It checks the disclosures and the assessment you owe, in the order the rules set where you're licensed, and dates each one.
You get the record of why you chose this loan, written as you work. Every condition, valuation, approval and closing date is tracked, counted the way each rule counts days. Client updates are written and ready to send, and lender portal entries come as copy-ready lines.
If Gmail or Google Drive is connected, it reads the emails and documents you pick, read only. It can add each key date to Google Calendar after you say yes. It never applies, sends or moves money, and it gives general information, not financial advice: you decide.
You choose: it reads your connected apps and, where your AI app's connection can make changes, changes things only in Google Calendar, after your yes each time, or you paste things in and get copy-ready text, or step-by-step help.
Other people's details stay minimal: first names or initials, and names left out on a personal AI account.
What you get
Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.
Works with your apps. If you've connected your email, your cloud files or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.
Remembers you. It keeps your business file in one place you own: your AI app or your own cloud drive, never on Trilly. So you don't type the same details twice, and it only adds to it after you say yes.
Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.
