9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 21 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.
Tested by Trilly on 21 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.
Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 21 October 2026. Version 1.0.2 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.
We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.
| Task | With the skill | Well-prompted AI |
|---|---|---|
| Task 1 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper What it tested: JCQ: where Form 8 shows two low average standardised scores (85-89) in two different areas of speed of working, AAO won't approve 25% extra time; make an online referral to the awarding body through AAO with the evidence (Joint Council for Qualifications) | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 2 of 3: a job using connected apps What it tested: College Board: all requests for accommodations for the May 2027 AP Exams must be submitted by the SSD coordinator through SSD Online by January 22, 2027 (College Board, AP Central) | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
| Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: JCQ: a writing speed score can't be used towards 25% extra time for a candidate who uses a word processor; two qualifying scores in two different areas of speed of working are needed (Joint Council for Qualifications) | 3 of 3 | 0 of 3 |
Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.
You ask
Without the skill
I can't access AAO, so this is a copy-from sheet. Field names are approximate, so match them to the screens you see. Check the current JCQ AA regulations too.
Straight answer: AAO is unlikely to approve 25%. As I recall the rules, 25% needs at least two below-average standardised scores (84 or below) from different speed-related assessments. Scores of 86 and 88 are low average (85-89), so they don't meet the 25% threshold. Using 25% in mocks doesn't change this, because it's evidence of normal way of working, not of the qualifying scores. Scores in this range may support up to 10%, if the other criteria are met. Please verify against this year's JCQ wording.
AAO application: candidate 4127

ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS
Will AAO approve it? No, not directly. Candidate 4127 has two low average scores (85 to 89), SS 86 for reading speed and SS 88 for writing speed. They count, because she reads for herself and handwrites. They are in two different areas of speed of working, so the score rule is met only through referral. AAO won't approve two low average scores. The centre makes an online referral to the awarding body through AAO, with the evidence attached and a strong justification.
Act today: the June 2027 series deadline is Sunday 21 March 2027. Aim to refer by Friday 19 March. Reminder: Friday 5 March 2027, the working day before 7 March.
| Candidate | Arrangement | Evidence held | Route | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4127 | 25% extra time | Form 8 Part 1 (before assessment); Part 2 on 14 October 2026 (SS 86 reading, 88 writing); English and History mocks | Refer to awarding body | To do |
Still missing: teachers' comments on why she needs 25% extra time and how she uses it. Your mocks cover the "used in tests" sample. Attach them with the comments, and make the justification strong.

Give it your candidates by number and the evidence you hold. It checks each one against the rules of the exams they sit: whether the arrangement is how they normally work, which assessment scores count for extra time and which don't, and whether the application can be approved, must go to the exam board, or isn't ready yet.
You get a tracker by candidate number, requests to teachers for classroom evidence, every deadline and approval expiry dated, and an exam-day plan with rooms, staff and finish times. Your browser helper can fill the exam board's online application and stop before the final button; you type each name and date of birth.
It is admin only: it never diagnoses or gives medical advice, and the assessor or school team decides need. Candidate numbers only: no name or date of birth goes in any tracker, file or event. If your spreadsheet, email or calendar is connected, it can update the tracker, draft requests and add deadlines, and it asks first.
You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.
Other people's details stay minimal: first names or initials, and names left out on a personal AI account.
Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.
Works with your apps. If you've connected your spreadsheets, your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.
Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the website it names, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.
Remembers you. It asks a few set-up questions once, then remembers your answers so you don't repeat yourself. You can change them any time.

Check candidate 4127 for 25% extra time: reading speed 86, writing speed 88, she handwrites. Can we apply?
To check it's working, the answer should start with "ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS".
