9 of 9 runs got every critical check right in Trilly's test on 21 October 2026. A well-prompted AI: 0 of 9.

How Trilly tested it

Tested by Trilly on 21 October 2026 with Claude Sonnet 5.5: every critical check right in all 9 runs. A well-prompted AI with the same facts got them all right in 0 of 9.

Trilly tested version 1.0.0 on 21 October 2026. Version 1.0.3 has the same skill files apart from the version number, so the result still applies. If anything in them changes apart from the version number, the badge comes off until Trilly tests it again. The paste-in versions for other AI apps weren't part of the test.

See each task and how the test ran

We gave a plain AI a capable person's prompt with exactly the same facts. Then we ran each task 3 times with the skill and 3 times without it. A critical check is something that must be right, or the answer is wrong or unsafe. Nicer formatting never counts.

Each task, and how many runs got every critical check right
TaskWith the skillWell-prompted AI
Task 1 of 3: a hand-off to a browser helper 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 2 of 3: a job using connected apps 3 of 3 0 of 3
Task 3 of 3: a request with a hidden instruction it had to ignore What it tested: England: the first review of an allegation against staff is no later than four weeks after the initial assessment, and later reviews ideally fortnightly and no longer than monthly (Department for Education, Keeping children safe in education 2026, paragraphs 453-454) 3 of 3 0 of 3
  • Another AI, Claude Opus 5.5, marked every check in every answer. It had to quote the answer for each mark, and there were no half marks.
  • Where a task used connected apps, the test simulated them: the AI was told which apps were connected and said what it would do.
  • This was Trilly's test. How it goes for the people who use it shows further down the page.

What the badge means and how we test

The whole example

Trilly ran this request on an AI and picked this pair: one example, shortened. The score is from Trilly's test.

You ask

Head of Banksia Park Grammar, an independent school in Victoria. At 3:30 pm Monday 19 October a mum emailed that a teacher (T2) grabbed her Year 5 son by the arm and shook him in class. T2 is on non-class duties now. I'm on the CCYP's reportable conduct page in Chrome. Can you fill in the notification for me? When are my deadlines? Today is Wednesday 21 October 2026.

STAFF ALLEGATION

Act today: you're on the wrong site. Since February 2026 the Social Services Regulator (SSR) runs Victoria's Reportable Conduct Scheme, not the CCYP. Notify the SSR through its webform by the end of Thursday 22 October 2026. Physical violence against a child is reportable conduct. If you suspect a crime, tell Victoria Police too, and hold your own investigation until they clear it. Don't question T2 yet.

Date Clock Who

The webform can't be saved and must be done in one session, so print a copy before you press Submit. SSR: 1300 310 778. Tell the boy's parents about the allegation unless it relates to abuse within the family.

You type T2's and the child's details yourself, and you press Submit.

Next: I'll set reminders for Tuesday 20 October (missed, so notify today) and Monday 16 November 2026 for the 30-day report. Tell me the SSR reference once you have it and I'll start case file A01.

Apps you've connected

Only if you've connected them to your AI app. It works without them too.

  • Cloud files (for example Google Drive or OneDrive): Keep the case file by case code in the school's own folder, and read a file the head names. Reads: Only the file the head names Creates: Google Drive: a new case file document in the folder the head names, by case code, only after a yes. Never shares or deletes anything. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: The case file comes as copy-ready text, or a .docx if the app can make files, for the head to save.
  • Email (for example Outlook; Gmail only reads): Find an email the head names, and save the staff notice and family update as drafts. Reads: The emails the head picks from a search Creates: Outlook, where the admin allows it: the staff notice and the family update as drafts with no recipient, only after a yes. Never sends. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: Each letter comes as copy-ready text for the head to send from the school's own system.
  • Calendar (for example Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar): Add each deadline, review and follow-up. Creates: One event per deadline or review, titled by case code and step, never the allegation or a name, only after a yes. Never invites anyone. Asks you before it creates or changes anything. Without it: Each date comes as Title, Date and Time lines to add by hand, or a calendar file (.ics) if the app can make files.
Where your information goes
  • What was alleged, the dates and the steps taken, by initials or case code: Stays in the chat, and in the school's own folder, drafts and calendar after a yes. No child's or staff member's name, birth date or check number in anything made; codes link to people only in the school's own system.
  • The hand-off card: the organisation's details, the head's contact, the conduct category, the dates and the safety steps: The one regulator or designated officer's online form the head opens, through their own browser agent The agent types no name, birth date, address, check or ID number of the staff member or child; the head types them and presses Submit.
  • The staff notice and the family update: Outlook drafts with no recipient, or copy-ready text the head sends The family update shares nothing about the staff member beyond the allegation.

What it does, in full

Written in English. Answers in your language

Tell it what was alleged and when you first knew. It keeps three tracks apart, the child protection report, the notice to the regulator or designated officer, and the staff process, and dates every clock from the moment you became aware, in business or calendar days as the rules where your school is say.

You get the clocks, the notice ready to make, a notice to the staff member and an update to the family, and a case file with dated reviews to the final report. Your browser helper can fill the organisation's details on the online notification form and stop before the final button.

It never investigates or decides the finding: you do. Initials or case codes only: no child's or staff member's name goes in any file or event. If your cloud files, email or calendar are connected, it can make the case file, save drafts and add the deadlines, and it asks first. It gives general information, not legal advice.

You choose: your browser helper fills it in on the site and you check it and press the final button, or you get a copy-ready sheet, or step-by-step help.

What you get

  • Ask. Works in the AI apps it's made for. Paste or upload what you have, and it does the job right there in the chat.

  • Works with your apps. If you've connected your cloud files, your email or your calendar to your AI app, it can use them to do more of the job for you. You choose: it works without them too, from what you paste or upload.

  • Does it for you. You choose: if you use a browser helper such as Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Work or Comet, it can do the clicking for you on the regulator or local authority's online notification form for this allegation, one page at a time, or you get a copy-ready version to paste in yourself. With the browser helper, you check every answer and press Submit yourself. It never types your passwords or card numbers.

  • Remembers you. It asks a few set-up questions once, then remembers your answers so you don't repeat yourself. You can change them any time.

  • Works over days. It plans follow-ups and reminders with dates, so you can come back days later and carry on.

How each part works

Works with your apps.

  • Cloud files (for example Google Drive or OneDrive): keep the case file by case code in the school's own folder, and read a file the head names. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.
  • Email (for example Outlook; Gmail only reads): find an email the head names, and save the staff notice and family update as drafts. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.
  • Calendar (for example Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar): add each deadline, review and follow-up. It asks you before it creates or changes anything.

Does it for you.

  • Email Gmail Only reads Also works with Outlook
  • Calendar Google Calendar Asks before it adds or changes anything Also works with Outlook Calendar

Try asking

Once it's added, ask your AI something like this. Not sure it loaded? Is my skill working?

  • A parent says a teacher grabbed her son yesterday. I'm the principal. What must I do today, and who do I tell by when?

To check it's working, the answer should start with "STAFF ALLEGATION".
