What's changed in Learner Driver Logbook and Test Planner
Versions that passed Trilly's checks, newest first.
- Version 1.0.5 · 27 Oct 2026
- The line on booking the practical test in one country no longer says the theory pass certificate number is needed: it lists the licence number and a card, as the booking service's own page does.
- The hand-off card and every paste-in version no longer list a theory certificate number among the numbers left for you to type.
- One country's learner-to-restricted licence rule is brought up to date from its transport agency's page: who the 12-month rule covers, when it starts, and that the hours that shorten it will be up to 60.
- Version 1.0.4 · 27 Oct 2026
Where a place sets a minimum time on the learner permit and a minimum age for the test, the earliest test date now uses both, in the skill, its steps and every paste-in version. Several more places now have them, and if a place gives neither the skill says it cannot date the test and asks the authority.
What else changed in version 1.0.4
- The description now says exactly which places the skill covers, and the one place with only the learner period and age says so.
- It now says plainly, in every version, that it will not pad hours, log a drive that did not happen, or sign for a supervisor.
- Traffic hours that a place only recommends are shown as a recommendation, not a requirement.
- The booking service for each covered place is named, and the dates in the sources match the dates in the rules.
- Version 1.0.2 · 27 Oct 2026
The rules now show the date each was checked against its official page: 27 October 2026 for most places, 15 October 2026 for the rest.
What else changed in version 1.0.2
- Where a place counts paid lessons for extra hours, the skill now says the cap, that the extra hours never count as night hours, and that a course credit counts only once the course is finished.
- The rules for several places now match their official pages: a learner's blood alcohol, the traffic hours some places do not set, and the time a learner licence must be held.
- A drive logged by two people shows the supervisor as "to confirm" until you say who it was, instead of naming one.
- Follow-ups come earliest first, starting with copying each drive into the official logbook the same day.
- New: it can ask three questions on your place's rules and gives each answer after you try, and it answers a learner's own note on a drive with a question, never a rewrite.
- The promise now says the tests are ready to book: you press the confirm button yourself.
- Version 1.0.1 · 16 Oct 2026
Night driving uses the sunset time you check in your weather app for that date and place. The skill no longer looks it up on a website itself.
What else changed in version 1.0.1
- Nothing else changed. Trilly corrected these lines directly, with no new writing.
