What's changed in Google Ads and Meta Ads Wasted Spend Finder
Versions that passed Trilly's checks, newest first.
- Version 1.0.1 · 26 Oct 2026
- The listing says each negative is tested against the searches in your exports that brought you a lead or a sale, so none of them blocks those, instead of saying it never blocks a search that brings you customers. It says "Meta ad sets" instead of "audiences", and the dates you exported (usually the last 30 days).
- The sample list no longer shows a stray capital in a plural keyword, and a line about Display and Video campaigns that Google's own page does not state is gone.
- For Meta, it says what the Results column counted for each ad set (such as link clicks) and its cost per result before comparing ad sets on leads, as Meta's page describes Results. It ranks the ad sets by the amount over target, biggest first, with any at or under target last; the script numbers them the same way.
- It gives each campaign's spend (Performance Max too) on searches that never converted, and looks in your search terms for the other form of each negative (school and schools) to add it.
- A search caught by two negatives counts once in the Blocks total, and the answer says so.
- The answer's first line is always the heading, with no note about the script or method before it, and the skill works the same without the script.
- It runs on Trilly's updated offline-script helper.
