Link Gemini to Trilly

US only · 18 or over · personal Google accountNot tried by Trilly yet

The Gemini app can add an app like Trilly by its address, for now only in the US. Then you can say "find a free skill on Trilly for my budget and add it".

Steps

  1. Copy Trilly's address

Copy Trilly's address from the box below. You'll paste it in a moment.

    https://trilly.io/api/mcp

No key or password to copy: Trilly asks you to log in and say yes.

  2. Open Connected Apps

On gemini.google.com, choose Settings, then Connected Apps. Don't see it? Choose Personal Intelligence, then Connected Apps.

  3. Add Trilly

Under Custom apps, choose Add a custom app. Paste the address and choose Next. Leave Advanced features as they are: Trilly doesn't need them.

From Google's help: Gemini's Add a custom app box, with Address https://trilly.io/api/mcp. Paste the address, then choose Next.
  4. Log in or join free, then say yes

Trilly opens. New here? Choose Join free and confirm your email: the link in the email brings you straight back. Check what Gemini will be able to do, then choose Yes, link Gemini.

  5. Add your first skill

In a chat, type @ and pick Trilly. Then ask: "find a free skill on Trilly for my budget and add it".

Then: Ask as you normally would. Want it to use your email or calendar? Connect them in Gemini first.

Trilly hasn't tried linking from Gemini yet. If a step doesn't match what you see, tell us.

If something goes wrong

I don't see Custom apps

Google only offers it to people 18 or over in the US, on a personal account with Keep Activity on. Otherwise, download a skill and add it by hand: see Can't link?, under What you need.

Trilly says it can't check who made the app

Trilly only names apps it can recognise for certain. Before you say yes, check the address it will send you back to belongs to Google.
