What you can report

  • A skill on Trilly that copies your work, or uses it without permission.
  • A post, review or listing on Trilly that copies your work.
  • Copies of a paid Trilly skill that have been shared, resold or published somewhere without the right to do so.
  • Your company's name or logo used in a way you don't agree with: see Company names and logos.

To report a harmful or unsafe skill instead, email abuse@trilly.io or use "Report" on the skill's page.

What to send us

Email legal@trilly.io with:

  1. Your name and contact details, and who you represent if you're acting for someone else.
  2. A description of your work, with a link or a copy if you can.
  3. The link to the skill, post or review on Trilly (or where the shared copy is), and which part copies your work. If a shared copy shows a Trilly licence number (it starts with TL-), include it.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't allowed by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your request is accurate, and that you own the rights or are allowed to act for the owner.
  6. Your full name as a signature.

What we do next

  1. We confirm we've got your request, usually within 2 working days.
  2. If it's complete and looks valid, we pause the skill (or remove the post) and tell the maker. We send the maker the details of your claim, including your name and contact details, so they can respond.
  3. For shared copies of a paid skill, we may revoke access to that skill, for the person who shared it and for the shared copies.
  4. We decide based on what both sides send. We aren't a court, and either side can take legal action.
  5. Skills we remove are listed on our removals page.

Counter-notices: if your skill was paused

If your skill was paused or removed and you believe that's a mistake, email legal@trilly.io within 10 working days with:

  1. Your name and contact details.
  2. The skill that was paused.
  3. Why the claim is wrong, for example proof you made the work or have a licence to use it.
  4. A statement that the information you've given is accurate.
  5. Your full name as a signature.

We send your counter-notice to the person who made the claim. If they don't tell us within 10 working days that they've started legal action, we may put the skill back.

Makers who reuse others' work

Makers promise that their skills are their own work or used with permission (see our creator terms). Makers who repeatedly copy others' work lose their maker account.

Company names and logos

Trilly has pages about companies whose apps work with AI skills, built from public sources. Unless a page says it's managed by the company, the company hasn't endorsed it. If you're from a company and want us to change how we use its name or logo, tell us.

What to send:

  1. Your name, your role and the company you represent. Write from an email address at the company's own domain if you can.
  2. The link to the page or skill on Trilly.
  3. What you'd like us to do: for example, remove or replace a logo, correct a fact, or stop a skill suggesting you endorse it.

Where to send it: use our contact form and choose "I'm from a company", or email legal@trilly.io.

What we do, and how fast:

  1. We reply within 2 working days.
  2. Once we've checked you're from the company, we make the change within 5 working days and tell you when it's done. We correct a wrong fact, and remove or replace a logo.
  3. A skill can still say it works with your product, by name: that tells people what it does, not that you endorse it. If a skill suggests you endorse it, or uses your logo as its own, we ask the maker to change it, and take the skill off Trilly if they don't.
  4. Want to run your company's page yourself? Claim it: once we've checked you work there, you choose what it shows.

False claims

Don't send a takedown request or a counter-notice unless you're confident it's right. Knowingly false claims may be unlawful.
