What's changed in Late Invoice: The Interest and Fee You're Owed, by Country
Versions that passed Trilly's checks, newest first.
- Version 1.0.2 · 30 Oct 2026
- For construction work, the court rate it compares with the contract rate is now named as the court's rate after judgment, with the page that publishes it.
- It now says which parts of a country a pre-claim protocol covers, so the protocol letter is used only where it applies.
- If the client replies to the protocol letter, the 30 days before you can start a court claim now run from their reply, or from when you give them documents they asked for, whichever is later.
- The paste-in versions name the protocol letter in the demand step, and give a weekday only when they can work it out with code.
- It reads amounts with a dot for thousands and no cents (1.234), and dates written with dots (01.10.2026).
- Version 1.0.1 · 29 Oct 2026
If the client is an individual or a sole trader and the place has a pre-claim protocol, the formal demand is now that protocol's letter, with its three forms and 30 days to reply; companies and partnerships keep 14 days.
What else changed in version 1.0.1
- Construction work, and the design and advice around it, can carry interest under a payment-security law. It no longer says "no rule found" for that work, and it gives the greater of the court rate and the contract rate.
- The advice to send a demand by registered post now cites the government page that says so, and the free help names the state's legal information service.
- It reads amounts written 1.234,56 as well as 1,234.56.
