Questions people ask

Does Trilly see what staff or students write?

No. Trilly never sees a conversation with your AI. A skill's use is counted from what the AI reports after each task: which skill, and whether it did the job, never what was asked or written.

Can a skill write a student's assignment?

No. No skill on Trilly may write, rewrite, paraphrase or complete work a student will hand in as their own, sit a test for them, or help hide AI use from a teacher. We check every new version for this, and remove any skill that breaks the rule. Skills that explain, quiz or give feedback on a student's own writing are welcome.

Can we add our students?

Yes. A university or college (a TAFE in Australia) can add its students too (on the Education plan they're never billed), and switch on "Students see only skills that help them learn": then they can add and use only skills Trilly's review marked as helping people learn.

Can students under 18 use it?

Our terms say: "You must be at least 18, or at least 16 with the permission of a parent or guardian." Trilly doesn't check anyone's age when they sign up.

What do universities and TAFEs pay?

Once billing opens: staff pay half the workspace price, A$14.50 a person a month (A$12 each from person 100; 500 or more: talk to us), counting only staff who used a skill in the last 30 days. Students are free. Start with a free 13-week pilot for up to 100 staff. Trilly invoices you directly. Nothing is charged before billing opens.
